Regime forces launched new offensive on the Rebel-held areas in Hama’s northern countrysides, under Russian air-cover. Regime forces were able to take control of Atshan village and Sukayk hill in the first day of the offensive, as the offensive still ongoing. Rebel commanders (Free Syrian Army – FSA) claimed to destroy 17 tanks and 3 military vehicles, as well as killing more than 30 soldiers including 3 Russians. Rebels were able to repel attacks on Tall Sayyad, Lahaya, Latmin, Lataminah and Kafr Nabudah villages.
